Welcome to Your Research Guide!

Hello Class! This guide is designed to help you find information about topics that relate to "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck. Finding information about events occuring during the novel's time frame will enhance your understanding of and appreciation for what you are reading. Use the tabs at the top of this column to help you locate facts that will help you to complete your assignment.

*Look in the left column of your worksheet to locate search terms that will help you find the information you need!

The PhotoPeach slideshow you create gives you an opportunity to share digital photos and artwork that relate to the guiding questions you will answer. The slideshow will help you remember key information you will present later this month. During your presentation, you will use speaking skills to provide an extension of the intial answers you uncovered during your research. Your audience will use listening skills to learn more about the novel's background.

Later this semester, you will build upon this initial research when key themes occuring in the novel are explored in depth.
